Sue Regis Glass Art Studio & Star Wars Day

You may remember Sue Regis from previous blogs here

Sue Regis, “Godmother of Joliet Arts Scene,” has been at the forefront of many projects, events, opportunities, and connecting so many people within the Joliet Community. Sue Regis creates one of a kind flameworking glass jewellery, memorial pieces, glasses, and so much more. She has been a huge support for many in the Joliet community, including me. Sue Lets me sleep at her place when I am in town as well as hosts artists and poets for events I have created, at her studio in the past.

She’s been a part of family traditions with her beautiful handcrafted glass Christmas ornaments and has helped others through devastating times of loss with her thoughtful glass memorial pieces.

Sue Regis Glass Art has been a staple small business in Joliet since 2005 and a huge advocate and supporter of the arts in this community. As an Art leader, Sue's footprint has expanded outside her own business. She is the Co-Founder of The Art Movement Inc, (founded in 2017, non-profit Arts Organization), Chair of the Visual Arts Committee for the Old Joliet Prison Burnt District Artists, Commissioner on the Joliet Arts Commission, a supporter of local artists and businesses, and so much more!

I was so grateful to be able visit her studio on Star Wars day in Joliet while I was there.
